The Short Story
Pros:
- Devil May Cry-esk
- Incredibly smooth animations
- Accurate and dead eye exact controls
- Beautiful graphics

The Good!
Thee is allot of good in this game. First off, they got the original developer of Devil May Cry to direct the entire operation, (at very least, i Believe that's right.) which not only makes the fact its entire setup very similar to his previous game, but also makes it a plus. (Its one thing to rip off the idea, another to get the original artist to make a new masterpiece)
One thing this game has in spades is incredibly smooth animations, meaning all though the combat is waay over the top, all the character movements look and feel natural. There isn't much character body part issues, (like blobbing and blotting and such,) Not to mention much better ability to customize the protagonist.
The Controls are simply flawless, its just that simple, there flawless. DMC and its sequels had the issue with the tiny control details just being off enough to kill you over and over, this game doesn't have that, its kinda odd to learn, but once you do, youll be blasting angels to pieces in no time.
Sex appeal! I don't mind male protagonists in the third person, but as a guy, it is nice not having to stare at a guys ass for 9 hours at a time. But that could just be me. Also this game does almost cross the line with just overdone with sex appeal, but i dont find that a issue if the game is good, which this is.
The Bad
There isn't much bad. But the difficulty of it all will make you wanna beat your controller into pieces. Its not the controls fault at any time, but it doesn't help when your dying all the time. Unless your a DMC god, (in which case you don't need this review,) death is assured.
Sex Appeal, because like I said, it could just be my issue with staring at a guys ass for the entirety of the game, I don't think its just me though. Also as I said its flirting with the line of just overblown. Pun intended.
The Ugly
I simply had a great time playing this game, the story is about as deep as a puddle, but everything good about it formed up into a quite exciting and addicting experience.
Bottom line is, if you like Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, or are just tired of games that seem to move at a snails pace, buy this game. Its pros outweigh its cons almost entirely, hence why it got a near perfect score. Superior work.
